Come and join this fun and informative introduction to the world of tap! Bringing you decades of teaching and performance experience, Whisky Falls will guide you through the complete essentials. Don’t know what a shuffle is? It’s all good, we’ll cover that. We may even get to first base…of timesteps
Pre-Reqs & Needs: No knowledge of experience required, this is pure beginnings. Tap shoes are not essential, a heavy soled shoe is fine. No high heels please.

Want to learn some more? This is your time! Come join Whisky as we recap on the basic steps needed to string together a tap dance based routine. Combining steps and taking technique to the next level, this beginners workshop will have you salivating for more!
Pre Reqs: At least 2 previous tap classes. Knowledge of basic shuffles, riffs and rolls.
Tap shoes not essential but encouraged.
You know tap dance you say? Well, come join Aunty Whisky for a tap jam! Bringing some technique drills, tap standards, and rhythm games galore, let’s work those feet into a frenzy.
Pre Reqs: At least one year of recent tap knowledge, or multiple years a long time ago
Knowledge of shuffles, riffs, rolls, crawls, pickup based steps, time-steps.
Tap shoes essential.
ABOUT WHISKY FALLS:
Whisky Falls has been tap dancing since the tender age of 3. After years of winning tap competitions in Scotland, Whisky was one of 10 1st year students of Bird College (London) to join workshops with Adam Buckley of Stomp!
As a professional (post study), Whisky has been a company member for The Rhythm Club, held a residency as a tap dancing showgirl in a London speakeasy, and taught tap to all levels at Bird College from 2011-2018.
Whisky holds a Diploma in Dance Teaching for Tap Dance (ISTD DDE program).
