❤️🔥 Bolly-Basics (Open Level) ❤️🔥
2:00pm - 3:30pm
A 1.5 hour workshop for those who are brand new to Bollywood and Southasian dance styles.
This class will focus on basic and commonly used Bollywood steps and mudras. It will culminate in a fun and silly dance routine with lots of character work.
This workshop will be open to beginner or intermediate dancers.
Note: Bollywood dancing is high energy and requires a moderate level of fitness. If you have ankle or knee issues it is strongly advised to be prepared for moderate impact movements and bouncing/ jumping.
❤️🔥 Moody Jazz (Inter/Adv Level) ❤️🔥
4:00pm - 5:00pm
A one hour choreography workshop delving into Burlesque noir and dark femme energy!
A little sexy, a little strange- this class will challenge your sense of rhythm and pace- exploring slow sustained movements, before learning how to contrast them with intricate and fast paced choreography.
Note: Please wear comfortable but form fitting clothing that is suitable for jazz dance. Sneakers, jazz boots or chorus heels are fine.
This workshop will be at an inter/advanced level, so please bear in mind that this is not a tech class and a basic knowledge of common jazz movements and turns will be needed.
