Learn How to Sew Your Own Stappy G! The perfect base layer for any burlesque outfit!

In this four-hour workshop, Catherine from Crystal Pegasus Costumes will lead you through the process of sewing a Strappy G.
All materials provided; the underwear is made from lycra and elastic with a cotton jersey gusset. You'll learn to work with these stretch fabrics, and create a garment to fit your own body!

This workshop is a gentle and fun class – open to all genders and suitable for anyone with a basic ability to use a sewing machine. If you have completed the "Back to Sewing Basics" workshop then you're all ready for this class!

Please note: Participants are expected to bring their own sewing machine so you can learn to use what you have.
If you do not have a sewing machine, a limited number of machines are available to loan for the workshop for an additional fee of $20

What to bring:

If you have your own basic sewing kit (hand sewing needles, glass headed sewing pins, fabric scissors, thimble) then please bring it along, otherwise tools can be provided. Students are required to bring their own sewing machine or hire one for use on the day (see below).

If you do not have your own sewing machine, we have a limited number of machines that can be provided for students for use at the studio during class. Reserve yours at booking, for a fee of $20.

With over a decade of tertiary teaching experience, and a YouTube channel devoted to her sewing, Catherine will ensure your journey is fun and enjoyable as you develop your sewing skills!
